A new version of the "Roma Pass" has been released. Roma PASS gives you important discounts at public and municipal museums, as well as the entire public transport network and access to the city's bike sharing scheme. The card now includes access to a multilingual medical call center for first aid advice and directions to either private or public structures if needed. Roma PASS 2010 costs 25 euro and is available on-line.
The Vittoriano Complex in Rome hosts one of the largest exhibitions ever held on Dada and Surrealism, curated by the art historian, essayist, poet and philosopher Arturo Schwarz. More than 500 works from prestigious private collections and major museums around the world - oil paintings, sculptures, collages, drawings, assemblages, and ready-mades - highlight the origins and evolution of the movements.
Caravaggio Exhibitions throughout Italy in 2010 Italy will be celebrating Caravaggio in 2010, commemorating the 400th anniversary of his death. A first tribute to the painter will be running in Rome's Borghese Gallery until January 24, comparing the work of 20th-century British artist Francis Bacon to that of the 16th-century Italian master. Leonardo da Vinci exhibition in Rome until April 30th 2010The Leonardo da Vinci Machines Exhibition in Rome - The genius and his inventions - celebrates the universal genius of Leonardo da Vinci by presenting about fifty full scale machines: flying machines, like the ancestor of the parachute, a bicycle, a hydraulic saw, and many other inventions. The machines are grouped into 5 sections. The four elements of nature - water, air, earth and fire and the mechanism section. They are all fully operational and can be set into motion.
